Happy Easter!

This year we had a great Easter- with very few pictures.  We had an Easter Egg hunt with Mom and Spencer hiding all the eggs.  We have eight colors of eggs, one color for each kid.  That makes it very easy to keep kids from arguing about who has more eggs or who found whose eggs.  The only problem was that Mom hid her eggs in easy-to-find places while Spencer hid them in hard-to-find places.  It was discovered after the colors were chosen/assigned that the little kids had to find all of the eggs Spencer had hid.  Needless to say, none of the younger kids wanted to trade colors.  So the little kids finished egg finding long after the older kids did.

Mom put good candy in the eggs this year.

Katie loved jelly beans and quickly traded her chocolate away.

Braden was just happy to be next to the action- and the bowl of sour jelly beans.

Happy Easter!

Some of the eggs we dyed cracked but they turned out beautiful anyway.

A little girl eating is a sure sign of a good Easter dinner.
