Rain, Rain

     It rained has from Sunday night to Friday night.  On Friday we had a couple ponds in the backyard and a river draining down the front yard.  Dad had to buy a bunch of hay bales to save the rest of the yard.  All church activities and seminary were canceled due to flooding. Even though we lost a lot of the garden plants everything else is greener.  The yard drained and the sun came out on Saturday, even though it was chilly.  We spent all the time we weren't watching General Conference outside in the sun.  We tried to go to the ocean but it was too cold.  It's sprinkling right now, which is good, to keep the
    General Conference was great.  Mom liked Holland's talk about gratitude.  President Uchdorf had a couple funny comments and what he said about slowing down and simplifying was true.  What was your favorite talk?
