Spring is Green Here!

This is Gavin's little everything-garden.  He takes bits and pieces from the garden and compost.  So far it is the most productive plot in the garden.  (The yellow flowers are radishes)

This is the tree fort Spencer built with the boys.  It features a platform with a swing and ladder.  The ice cream bucket is attached to a little crane.

Mom and Katie play Monopoly.

Cabbage is a staple in the area.  This cabbage was actually bought for a quarter at the hardware store.  It was  shriveled, dying, and about 1/10th its current size.  Gavin coaxed it back to life.  Now it is really big.

Almost overnight the forest became a solid wall of green.

This is our garden.  Don't worry, things are growing.  

Spencer, Emily, and Jessica went to a tri-stake dance aboard the U.S.S. North Carolina, a WWII battleship.  They had a great time.  It was Jessica's last dance as a youth.  She leaves for BYU Provo this Friday.
