I guess this was an ordinary week.  Some how we made it through.  I hope next week isn't so ordinary.
Jessica took the ACT on Saturday.  She was prepared; she was motivated.  She took it in the Social and Behavioral Sciences building at UNC-Wilmington.  The campus was beautiful.  We walked around some just to enjoy the crisp fall weather and beautiful landscaping.
Monday, Hannah had her bandages removed.  She is cautious about using her hand.  The muscles had gone a little limp.  The scar was...gruesome, but the doctor said it is healing perfectly.  I am glad to have Hannah back at her school work and helping around the house.

Gavin painted up his pinewood derby car.

The fall weather was just too nice to pass by.  We spent the afternoon playing tennis out on the island.

We had a cook out for our pack meeting.  Gavin earned his Bobcat, Wolf, gold and silver arrow points, and basketball and marble beltloop.  He had a bit more than the other boys.  I guess that comes from being the son of the den leader.  He hasn't missed an activity, so he earned all the badges.

The kids roasted hot dogs and smores.  Everyone had a nice evening.

Jessica and Spencer didn't get to come to pack meeting because they had activities in the church.  Friday evening they each started their own burn pile.

Saturday, I took a group of ladies to the Raleigh temple.  The seven hour drive only used half a tank of gas.  I figured the truck got 16mpg.  Yippee!
