The boys had an idea...
and it actually worked.
By the end of the day, the driveway was full of spare wheels and bolts as every boy on the street was reconfiguring his bike.

The defroster broke in the refrigerator this week which somehow made the refrigerator warm and the freezer full of ice.  We left the door open to defrost while the service man ordered the part.
Braden made himself at home.  A perfect shelf for his sippy cup...
and a comfortable seat for himself.

Up until now I have cut Braden's hair just by trimming around the edge.  It was time for a big boy cut.  We got out the clippers and shaved the sides.  No.  He did not still still as soon as I started cutting he was grabbing at the clippers in a terrified panic.  Somehow I kept him on
the stool and cut his hair straight.

Braden really dislikes having his clothes changed.

Dad happened to call in the middle of the ordeal.  Hearing dad's voice made it all better.

The kids play hard all day long.  By four o'clock there is usually one or two crashed on the couch.  This is Katie and David.
