Sausage Potato Soup

In large soup pot brown 5 large mild sweet sausages in a 1/2 cup of water. Add more water so the sausages will not burn.  (The kind you would grill and put on a sandwich.)    Remove sausages, cut into bite size pieces, return to pot.  Add chopped onions to pan and brown for a minute.  Add 7 sliced peeled potatoes, 1/2 pound chopped carrots, and 2 celery stalks. (The celery has a strong flavor- try leaving it out.)  Cover with about 6 cups water.  Add 3 cubes Knorr beef bouillon cubes.  Bring to a boil.  Simmer until potaoes are tender.

Serve with biscuits and honey and a fruit salad.
