Our Christmas Tree

Last night we all piled into the truck and went on a search for The Perfect Tree.  We did not need to go far.  Instead of spending 15$ in gas just to go to Lowes, and paying 30$ for a 5 and a half ft. tree we went to the local grocery store and bought a 8 and a half ft. tree for only 30$.

Since we did not go to Lowes the tree was not  packaged up.
Unloading the tree.
Sorry for the dark pictures.

Soon to be Birthday Girl.
Christmas trees are very comfy.

Because this is the biggest we have ever had it almost didn't fit our tree stand.

Just a little bit of squeezing and turning did the job.
 Desert was hot chocolate. Mmmmm.
Just for those of you who have perfect vision this is what people who do not see see.
If you have 20/850 vision the image you see is even more blurry.
Tinsel and lights are so hard to make even.
 Almost done.
Poor Braden.  He really wanted every single light off except for the Christmas lights.

 David hanging up an ornament.
(The presents in the background are for Katie's Birthday.)

 The boys cheered us on.
And maybe laughed us on too.

Watering the tree.

 The finished product.

A street view of the house.
We can't decide if we are going to put Christmas lights outside.
