The Truman and Smith Family
Thanksgiving Dinner
We woke up, cooked all morning, worked(yes, we WORK) on puzzles, skyped with Jessica and the Watson/Truman clan, enjoyed an appetizer lunch of summer sausage, nonpareils, pickles, crackers, cheese, and punch, phoned the White family, decorated the tables, had the Smiths over, consumed THANKSGIVING DINNER, cleaned up, walked slowly together to Mimosa Bay's boardwalk on the river, speed-walked back at dark, found the Hendricks awaiting our return, worked on the puzzles some more, brought out the DESSERT-apple pie, strawberry pie, pumpkin pie, Oreo cream pie, cookie cake, fudge, spiced/nonspiced cider, milk-, built and decorated a gingerbread house, continued the puzzle(an ongoing effort), brought out sparkle, rummicub, and other various card games, turned on Monster's U for the boys-who also built a few playmobil castles/forts-to watch, cleaned up a little, farewelled our guests, cleaned some more, read scriptures, sent the little ones to bed, cleaned even more, and finally fell into bed. An exhausting and yet fulfilling day. :)
Happy Thanksgiving!!
Who's ready for Christmas?
