Pictures of BYU

This is the ramp Jessica must cross every day to get to and from classes.

This is the bell tower.  There is a little keyboard at the very top that you can use to play the bells.  (Unfortunately they don't give students the key to the door at the very bottom.)  I'm not sure how you get up- circular stairway maybe.

This is Oatis, the African Spurred tortoise of an unknown age.  He loved eating grass and chopped carrots.  He can also crawl surprisingly fast.  Remember: Never turn a turtle on his back.  Because his ribs have merged to his shell, his rib cage can't keep his insides from getting squished by his tummy shell.

Oatis looks like he has a mountain range on his back, each bump is so big.  The lines are like tree rings: the more he has, the older he is.

This is PJ, the Australian blue-tongued skink.  Unfortunately his tongue flicked too fast to get a picture.  It is really really blue.

This is a red sculpture that I call "pi".  It looks completely different when seen at different angles.

They are doing something big down the road- putting in new pipes I think.

This picture doesn't even come close to showing the awesome size of that ditch.  It's huge!  There's always massive cranes and dump trucks and cement mixers in it.

This is a pathway down Rock Canyon, just up the road from the Provo Temple.

The mountains are so beautiful.

Unfortunately my camera can't zoom or else you would be able to see the distant mountains better.  They are beautiful.  As it is, you get an excellent picture of the dorms and the back of the Creamery.  (Note: Never walk by the Creamery at night.  It smells of delicious donuts.  Of course it never smells like this when it's open and you can actually buy the donuts.  So you just walk home tantalized.)
