This Week

This week has been a very relaxing one, and the weather has been pleasantly warm. Dad finished building the brick flower bed. It looks very pretty. We have daffodils, planted on Christmas day, that we are looking forward to come spring. The kids spent a lot of time on the archery range. Everyone, even Katie and David, can hit the hay bales. We rang the New Year in with a Jane Austen marathon, chips and dip, cookies, juice, and fudge. Everyone, except Mom, David, and Braden managed to stay up till midnight. We had our family portrait taken by the marsh across the street. Unfortunately the camera lenses were smudged and we had them retaken today on our front porch. We enjoyed the holidays but are now looking forward to school resuming and our schedule going back to normal.
