Jessica and Emily got back from camp Saturday afternoon, after leaving for camp Tuesday morning. It was the best girl's camp ever!! Emily was a second year and Jessica was a third year.
The theme was "frog", standing for Fully Rely On God. It took place at Camp Pretty Pond, a Girl Scout camp that had a large pond on the western side. Apperantly last year everyone called it Camp Pretty Puddle, but this year it was so big that there was an actual alligator in it! (All swimming and canoe-ing was canceled.) The girls had an awesome time. There was a pool (Jessica didn't actually swim in it. Emily did, and most of the girls there did.) There was archery (Jessica spent about two hours there, Emily didn't go), and there were horseback rides, secret sister gifts to give, hygiene kits to make, camp songs to sing, cheers to write and cheer, devotionals, camp certification, skits to preform, pranks to do at night(the 3rd years allied up with the stake leaders at two o'clock in the morning one night in order to get the 4th years with water balloons, and afterwards soaked their very own, very shocked leader because they thought she had betrayed them to the 4th years). There was also all the walking around that comes when your cabin is ten minutes from the mess hall, the spiritual 'blindfolded-walk everyone participated in on Tuesday night, and the testimony meeting Friday night. Everyone stayed up really late and woke up really early. Unfortunatly Jessica forgot her camera a lot of the time so there is not much pictures. But the girls had lots of fun meeting the 100 or so girls that went, and doing everything with their new friends. They came back hoarse from yelling so much and very excited to go next year. Go Girl's Camp!
